How much is your life worth?
Speer Gold Dot LE 9mm +P 124gr is the only ammo I carry for self-defense. Compare its muzzle velocity and energy with all the others of the same type and weight and you'll see why. Bullet expansion and penetration gets 2 thumbs up from me.

does anyone know the difference between the Le version and the personal protection version???? It seems the specs are all the same
In all honesty, the biggest difference I'm aware of is that LE ammo comes in boxes of 50 and Personal Protection comes in boxes of 20. Otherwise same bullet, same primer, same propellant, and same shell casing.
