September 5, 2021Runs fine in P320
Just ran 50 rounds in my Sig Sauer P320. No misfires, failures to feed. Works fine for me.

August 6, 2021I was impressed
Ran very well in a Sig P365XL as well as a Staccato C2 DPO. Accurate as most range ammo. Plans for home defense use. The only 2 negatives that put this as 4 instead of 5 is when you try to unload it the round will get stuck and you have to shake upside down or strip the mag out. 2nd it will get your guns dirty. I'm guessing because of the rifling, but as long as it is reliable… read more and accurate I would carry it as my 1st mag then maybe a hollow point for my backup

August 5, 2021Available and moderately priced at time
Jammed 6 times over 75 rounds on fairly new G19-4gen with oem glock mags. The G19 had 200 rounds with IMI no problems then and since 100 with Underwood.

August 5, 2021Unreliable Ammo
Worse Ammo I ever used. It would not cycle through my Glock 17 or my S&W MP 2.0. It jammed in both guns. Would not load. I had high hopes for it as a good home defense round but no way with it being so unreliable. I gave what i had away to an employee working at the range. He was interested in trying it. I have not been back yet to see if he had better luck.

July 27, 2021Do not buy
I shoot a glock 43. It doesn’t jam! It handles everything. Except this junk. You won’t get through a clip without jamming twice.

July 26, 2021Would not eject from 3 different guns. Only from a glock
Would not cycle through 3 different pistols. They fell in line with all other bad reviews.

July 6, 2021Failure to eject
Bought a few boxes for my newly purchased Springfield armory Hellcat, took it to my CPL class and the first shot after we went into the shooting gallery it jammed up, instructor helped me clear it safely, second shot it jammed up again, third shot it jammed AGAIN. Instructor hands me a new box of his own ammunition, zero problems the rest of the class. This ammo is not good. … read more

May 24, 2021Affordable Ammo but..
I bought two boxes of this ammo when the ammo shortage was pretty bad, and used them on a shooting day, at the time I had cero issues shooting the ammo, it cycled every time but I noticed a weird yellow residue on the barrel and inside the trigger group components, after I shot every round from it, I used the other ammo I had which was just regular brass casings and copper heads,… read more it shot a few rounds no problem but then I had failure to close properly and the pin would not strike hard enough to ignite the primer. I took the slide apart and noticed it still had that weird yellow dust on it, I cleaned everything as best as I could then it cycled again. I've probably ran about 1000 rounds on my pistol (SR9C) and only once did it miss fire (while I was taking my first training class). So not sure if its coincidence or not, but I didn't see anything weird on the bullets so quality is top notch, and it technically did fire all the rounds out before I switched ammo. I would definitely try them again just to see if I get the same results.

May 13, 2021Shoots very well for me.
I've been looking at frangible ammo, and I was intrigued by this one's reviews. So I had to buy a box. It performed perfectly in my CZ75 SP-01. I shot both the PolyFrang and NOVX (both 90 gr) - couldn't tell any difference. With Lucky Gunners price and delivery, I'll certainly be buying more. One last item: the NOVX was rated at 1535 fps and PolyFrang is probably about the same.

May 1, 2021Getting Better!
I believe what happened is that there was a bad batch early on. The issues appear to have been addressed and the ammo no runs smoothly in both pistols and carbines. I will admit that the ammo does seem to run more perfectly in carbines than pistols.

Can these be reloaded?
Yes sir! PolyFrang loads frangible bullets, but their brass cases are brand new and have the central flash holes you want when you replace their spent Boxer primers.
Will you be carrying more of this Polyfrang 9mm? I tried the one box I purchased and it is quite promising - but with the negative reviews I thought you might have dropped the product from your site.
Thanks for reaching out Tom! We do intend to offer this ammo again as soon as we are able, but I can't in all fairness promise when that will be. I hope you'll check back in again soon – we do often have frangible 9mm in stock, even during this amm
Please remove my last name from my previous question
Yes sir, just did!
Is this suitable for self defense esp. home defense with wall penetration in mind?
Hi James! This ammo isn't designed to neutralize a threat as efficiently as JHP or SP ammo, although its frangible bullets could absolutely get the job done all the same. Tactical teams would use frangible ammo like this if they ever had to engage hostile
If are this bullets for practice shots?
Yes ma'am, this 9mm ammo is designed for training, target shooting, and plinking. Its bullet is designed for safer range shooting, because it will disintegrate when it hits a hard surface to substantially reduce the risk of a ricochet.
