This cartridge features Ammo Inc.’s 115 grain total metal casing projectile (which is identical to the bullet we typically call a total metal jacket, or TMJ). Whereas a standard FMJ bullet’s jacket doesn’t actually cover the base of its lead core, the TMJ’s core is 100% percent encapsulated by its gilding metal jacket. This prohibits the heat of ignition from vaporizing any lead, which in turn keeps lead residue from accumulating in a bore’s grooves and lands (thus promoting greater accuracy throughout the duration of a range session).

The TMJ also prevents lead gas from getting into your soft and delicate lungs. If you spend a lot of time honing your aim indoors where ventilation is less than optimal, then the TMJ is your best friend!
