Great ammo for the price.

Hog Hammer
For $.21/rnd there’s nothing better. I didnt believe it until I shot it but have been dropping 150-250lbs hogs with one shot all spring. Even have to test it on a possum at 150yds—killed that turkey egg eater with crazy accuracy. I clean my rifles after each hunt so don’t really care if it’s a bit dirtier than .80/rnd other ammo. It’s not perfect but that more a result… read more of the cartridge shape, mag fit and feed ramp. Running it pretty flawlessly from Primary Weapon System with CPD mags. Garbage
Can not get 2 rounds out of magazine before it jams. I have tried 6 different magazines and 3 guns. This stuff is going in the trash. What a waist of money.

Not going to purchase again.
I have about 1500 rounds of this. It doesn't fire the first time. Run it again through the SKS and it will fire the second time. The firing pin is making deep dents in the primers yet will not fire on the first hit 90% of the time. Other brands run just fine in this gun. Must be a bad batch.

What is the difference between Wolf Performance Ammunition and Wolf Military Classic Ammunition besides the price and bullet weight?
The Wolf Performance is a lacquer sealed ammo where as the Military Classic is a polymer coated. Both are great choices.
Is this Barnaul made wolf?
Where the Wolf brand ammo is made varies. Some is Barnaul produced, most is produced by Tula Cartridge works.

What is the difference between this ammo and the "Polyformance" ammo. I noticed this is slightly cheaper per round.
The Classic is loaded with a different propellant. There will be no significant difference in performance in the two.

Hello RK, This ammunition is loaded with a lead core, bi-metal jacketed projectile. Due to the steel content in the jacket, this ammunition will not pass any type of magnet test.
How is the ammo shipped will it be shipped in a sealed box for long term storing?
Hello Rob, This ammunition will be packaged and shipped in a 1000 round case with 50 - 20 round individual boxes. For long term storage, it is recommended that the ammunition be stored in a air tight container.
